Need a copier for an event, a project, a busy season or while yours is being repaired? Hire a Canon by the week or month with no long contract. Tell us the dates and the model or speed you want, and we confirm whether it is free.
If the exact model is out, we offer the closest match, such as the next model up or down in the same series.
Swap or upgrade your Canon as your business changes
Print volumes change. If you outgrow a copier or find you bought more machine than you needed, we can move you to a faster or slower model in the same series. Hire and rental arrangements are built so you can change model without being locked in.

What to know before you choose a Canon.
- On many imageRUNNER ADVANCE models the last two digits give the speed, so a C3530i is a 30 page per minute colour copier and a DX 4945i is a 45 page per minute mono one. C means colour.
- DX is the newer generation. Earlier ranges such as the C3500, C3300 and III editions cost less used and still do the job for most offices.
- Production class mono models from 55 to 80 pages per minute suit print rooms and high volume teams, and are listed under the 6500, 6700, 6800 and 6980 series.
- Ask about paper capacity and SRA3 support if you print oversize sheets.

How much does it cost to hire a Canon photocopier?
It depends on the model, how long you need it, how many pages you print and whether you want colour or black and white. A few days for an event is priced differently to a rolling monthly rental. Tell us what you need and we will quote it. The hire prices page explains what moves the price.
Can I rent a Canon copier monthly instead of buying it?
Yes. Monthly rental puts delivery, installation, servicing and support into one payment, and you can move to a different model if your volumes change. Ask us for a monthly rental price on the Canon you have in mind.
Do you sell used and ex rental Canon copiers?
Yes. We sell used, refurbished and ex rental copiers as well as hiring them out. Stock changes, so ask whether the model you want is available now and we will tell you what we have or can source. Ex rental machines have been looked after on a service arrangement and are checked before they are sold.
Which Canon model should I choose?

Can I hire a Canon copier for a few days?
Yes. Short term hire covers events, temporary offices, seasonal peaks and breakdown cover, subject to the model being free for your dates. If the exact model is not free we offer the closest match.
Will it work on my office network?
Yes. On hire we install the copier on your network, set up printing and scan to email, and show your team how to use it. We confirm the setup for your computers before delivery.
What does DX mean on a Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE?
DX marks the newer generation of the imageRUNNER ADVANCE range. Earlier machines carry the plain imageRUNNER ADVANCE name and a series number or an edition number such as III.
Which Canon is best for a small office?
The compact colour models in the C3500 and C3900 families run at 20 to 35 pages per minute and suit a small to mid sized office. We can suggest a model if you tell us what you print.
Do you have the Canon C3530i?
The C3530i is on our used and ex rental list. Availability changes, so ask what we have now and we will confirm.
Can I hire a Canon production copier?
Yes. High speed mono Canon models from 55 to 80 pages per minute are available subject to dates, and we can arrange delivery and setup for them.
Where do you deliver Canon copiers?
Across Brisbane, the Gold Coast, the Sunshine Coast, Ipswich, Logan, Moreton Bay, the Redlands, Toowoomba and up to Gympie. If you are a little outside those areas, call us and we will tell you what is possible.
No lock in

Some leases and managed print contracts tie you to the same machine for five years or more. Hire is the flexible way to get a copier, and if it is not right, it can change.
Month to month
Hire for as long as you need the machine, whether that is a week, a month or a year. There is no five year term to sign up to.
Change it if it is not right
If the machine, your volumes or your plans change, tell us. Hire is flexible, so we can swap the model or adjust the arrangement. Ask us what notice applies.
