Short term photocopier hire

Who hires a photocopier short term

Conferences, trade shows and events that need a print and copy point for the duration.
Project teams set up in a temporary office. Site offices on construction jobs. Schools and
training providers through exam periods. Election campaigns and polling operations.
Accountants and legal teams in their busy season. Businesses whose machine has died and
who need something on the floor while the replacement is sorted. And offices that have just
moved in and are not ready to commit to a long term machine yet.

How short term hire works

Tell us the dates, the address and roughly what you expect to print. We match a machine to that, deliver it, put it on your network or set it up as a standalone copier if there is no
network, and show whoever needs to know how to use it. Toner and service are included for the whole hire, the same as our long term machines. When the hire ends we collect it. If it turns out you need it longer, you keep it and the hire rolls on.

What you can hire

A3 colour multifunction machines that print, copy and scan, which is what most events and
offices want. Smaller A4 machines where space is tight. Faster machines with finishers for a print heavy project. If you need something specific such as booklet making, stapling or
high volume black and white, say so when you ask and we will sort the right unit.

Short term hire for events

For an event we deliver ahead of time, set up in the room or the registration area, test it, and
collect after pack down. If the venue has restrictions on delivery windows or lift access, tell
us and we work around them. A standalone machine that does not need the venue's network is the usual answer for a conference or show.

Between machines

If your machine has failed and the replacement is weeks away, a short term hire keeps the
office printing without you signing anything long. Many of the businesses who hire from us
this way end up keeping the machine, and if you do, the short term hire simply becomes a
monthly hire on the same machine.

Where we deliver

Brisbane and the bayside, Ipswich and Springfield, Logan, the Gold Coast to Tweed Heads,
the Sunshine Coast to Gympie, Toowoomba and the Darling Downs, and the northern rivers
of New South Wales.

Common questions about short term hire

What is the minimum hire?

A week. Most short term hires run two to eight weeks.

Does it need to be connected to our network?

No. A copier can work as a standalone machine with copying and USB scanning. If you
want everyone to print to it, we connect it to your network at delivery, wired or wireless.

Is toner included?

Yes. Toner, parts and service are included in every hire, short or long.

How much notice do you need?

A few business days is comfortable. If it is urgent, ring, because we can often do better than
that.

Can we extend?

Yes. Tell us before the end date and the hire rolls on week by week or month by month.

Ask for a short term hire

Call, or send the dates and the address through the form and we will come back with a
machine and a price.
