Ex fleet copiers
Ex Fleet, Pre Owned and Renewed Photocopiers
Ex fleet means a copier that came out of a managed fleet, usually a business or school that replaced its machines on a schedule. You may also hear it called pre owned, renewed, reconditioned, ex rental or ex lease. They are all used copiers, and we sell them.
Names for the same thing
- Ex fleet and ex rental copiers
- Ex lease and ex demo copiers
- Pre owned and second hand copiers
- Renewed, reconditioned and refurbished copiers
Why people buy them
- A lower price than a new machine
- Proven models with parts and toner still available
- Often moderate page counts
- A way to buy first and hire first
Each machine is different, so we tell you the model, the meter reading where we have it and the condition before you decide. Tell us the brand, the model or your budget, and what you print, and we will quote what we have or can find.

What is an ex fleet photocopier?
A copier that came out of a managed fleet of machines, for example from a business or school that renewed its copiers on a schedule.
Is pre owned the same as second hand?
Yes. Pre owned, second hand, used, ex rental and ex lease all describe a copier that has had a previous owner. Renewed, reconditioned and refurbished usually mean it has also been checked or worked on.
Can I rent to own?
Ask us. We quote hire, rental and purchase, and many customers hire a machine first before buying it.
Do you deliver and install?
Yes, across South East Queensland. We deliver, install and connect the machine to your network.

No lock in
Hire it your way. No five year lock in.
Some leases and managed print contracts tie you to the same machine for five years or more. Hire is the flexible way to get a copier, and if it is not right, it can change.
Month to month
Hire for as long as you need the machine, whether that is a week, a month or a year. There is no five year term to sign up to.
Change it if it is not right
If the machine, your volumes or your plans change, tell us. Hire is flexible, so we can swap the model or adjust the arrangement. Ask us what notice applies.
Plain terms, in writing
We quote the machine, the term and what is included in writing before you commit. Delivery, installation and network setup are part of hire.
| Month to month hire | A long lease or managed print contract | |
|---|---|---|
| How long you commit | As short as you need | Often three to five years or more |
| If your needs change | Tell us and we adjust it | Often fixed until the term ends |
| Trying before you buy | Hire first, then buy the same machine if you like it | Check whether that is possible |
| Getting out | Ask us about notice before you start | Check the exit terms before you sign |
Want a lower monthly cost and sure you will keep the machine? Rental (12 to 36 months) and lease (36 to 60 months) are available too. We quote all of them side by side so you can choose.
